Words just don't do this place justice. Located in a gated community close to everything in Nuevo Vallarta. Who wouldn't want to walk out the sliding glass door and jump in the pool? Or get a water taxi right from the canal in the backyard that takes you to the beach? The kitchen is well equipped. We purchased fish from the local fishing boats & made some mouthwatering meals at the house.With the meticulous landscaping & decorations you can definitely tell that everything is well taken care of.

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Villa Calaveras. It’s wonderful! With COVID halting travel plans for so long, our family of 7 was long overdue for some relaxing time together. The house is beautiful with plenty of space for all. A stunning back garden and pool along a gorgeous canal. The neighborhood is quiet and gated, and within walking distance to several great restaurants, stores & a spa. Access to the beach is about a 15 minute walk or even faster bike ride.   

We loved staying here. We spent 2 1/2 weeks at the house. This is a very safe, well lit, gated neighborhood. We walked to the restaurants and shops just outside of the neighborhood in 10 min at night and during the day.This house is as pictured. The beds are excellent. Great communication using What's App with property manager, Alex. We visited all of the restaurants and the Patty Spa located across the street from the entrance gate. Spa is fantastic and super reasonable! 

Excellent place, very quiet to spend time with family, the house was impeccable. 

Our family came to Mexico for Christmas and booked this wonderful property. Communication with the property managers was always prompt and attentive. Location was perfect for us; close enough to the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. House was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the pool and patio and watching all the iguanas in the trees every morning!

Perfect stay, the host was kind and reactive, 10 min car ride from the beach.

My husband and I rented this place for a week and loved it all. We mainly live outside by the pool over looking a small water way. The neighborhood was very quite and relaxing. The house is equipped with everything you need. And property managers were fantastic to deal with and if you had any questions they’d answer you back quickly. The only cons to my stay was the hot water did not get hot or stay hot and the neighbors dog likes to only bark at night, but he shuts up after an hour or so. I do 

We enjoyed every minute of it.

Most attractive modern property in secure gated community of expensive homes (and untiday vacant lots). Delightful spacious outdoor living area overlooking peaceful canal with birds and iguanas. Large HEATED pool. Immaculately clean home, latest appliances. Nicely furnished and decorated with artwork. Welcome Book is packed with useful info. Variety of restaurants withing walking distance. Main beach (superb) only 20 minute stroll away. 

Beautiful clean house in a great location. Pool had lots of shade. Kitchen very well stocked with everything needed for meal prep. Occasional barking by dog next door, but he wrapped it up by 10pm. We couldn’t summon a cab to the house - instead we made the short walk out to the main street and grabbed one there. Close to farmers market, beach, paved walking/bike path and lots of great restaurants. Would stay again.
